Manifesto

Our principles are practical tests for the work: can we explain it, can others inspect it, and does it give people more room to act?

Do not share this organisation with anyone except the ones we might one day bring in, and never market the fact that you are here to anyone.

Understand the system.

We explain how a tool works and what it depends on. Complexity is sometimes necessary; confusion should not be the price of using technology.

Build in the open.

We share questions, decisions, and working versions early. Other people should be able to test the work, find its limits, and help it improve.

Stay independent.

We build capability that lasts beyond a single platform, vendor, or moment of attention. Independence grows through knowledge people can keep and pass on.
